Sage green shaker style kitchen with oak block effect laminate worktop, ceramic sink, metro wall tiles and grey porcelain floor tiles.

The kitchen is fitted in a 50 year old extension of a listed building and the customer wanted to keep the kitchen in keeping with the house.

During the removal of the kitchen several issues came to light that couldn't be seen with the original kitchen in place. These included rising damp, blown plaster and the original listed stairs into the kitchen had been covered by a replacement MDF set that were rotting due to the damp.

After discussions with the customer a plan was put into place to allow the project to move forward. The floor was fully tiled, the radiator replaced with a smaller but more efficient one and the pipework taken back as far as possible and replaced. Gas line was extended and new electrics were run to accommodate the new design.

The kitchen was fitted and the walls tiled followed by the new stairs being fitted and tiled.
